Booking policy

1947 London is an independent restaurant relying upon bookings being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any required changes to reservations. We require debit/credit card details for reservations to secure your table with us. These will be held in a secure PCI-DSS compliant vault.

We will keep your table for 15 minutes after which your table might be given to another guest but if you are running late, please call the restaurant on 020 7693 6290.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, we will need to release your table and your card will be charged £25 per person.

If your party size changes prior to the booking, we will require 2 hour notice of this and 48 hour notice for a full cancellation. Notice to be submitted by email to reservations@1947london.com. Failure to inform us of any changes will result in a £25 per person fee.

During busy periods and seasons, guests may experience a short wait to be seated.

Guests are not permitted to bring outside food and beverages in our restaurant as per food safety.

Large groups

For large groups, we collect a deposit per person to secure the booking.

For 5-7 persons we collect a deposit of £10 per person.

For 8 or more persons we collect a deposit of £25 per person.

All groups 8 or more persons will require a set menu.

Minimum spend

We have a minimum spend of £50 per person (including VAT) on food & drinks on all restaurant tables having an A La Carte menu.

Children

Under 15’s are not permitted after 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Allergies

All dishes may contain traces of nuts. For allergy and intolerance information, please see our menus and inform your server. If you have any additional enquiries, please speak to a team member.

Offer valid on A La Carte food menu (up to 7 guests) on the selected days mentioned (subject to our minimum spend policy) . Offer unavailable on Set Menu and for guests of 8 persons and above.

Offer excludes bank holidays, bank holiday weekends, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
